Hisperion joins the first cohort of ESA BIC Andalusia

We can finally announce it: Hisperion Aerospace is part of the first cohort of incubated companies at ESA BIC Andalusia!
ESA BIC Andalusia officially starts its activity by welcoming its first six selected startups, a milestone that marks the beginning of a key ecosystem to structure NewSpace entrepreneurship in Spain. The initiative is driven alongside the Spanish Space Agency (AEE), the Regional Government of Andalusia, and Seville City Council.
A new home for NewSpace in Spain
Together with our fellow selected startups, we will join the incubation programme at the centre's facilities in Naves de Renfe, gaining access to funding, expert mentoring, and a network built to turn technological innovation into competitive commercial solutions.
For Hisperion, this incubation has a clear mission: to further develop Orbita with powerful GNC capabilities and bring it to a commercial-ready version.
The operational management of the programme is carried out by the Advanced Centre for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC), bringing its experience in aerospace R&D to build a solid network that transforms technological innovation into competitive commercial solutions internationally.
Looking ahead
We are excited to make the most of all the opportunities this programme offers, alongside our fellow startups Albor Space, Graniot, Orbital Boost Aerospace, OLMA Space, and YNSAT.

A big thank you to the European Space Agency (ESA), the Junta de Andalucía, and CATEC for this opportunity, and special thanks to Gracia Catalina Piñero for all the coordination and support throughout the process.
