Hisperion in the media: Alhambra Venture, IDEAL, El Referente and more

Hisperion Aerospace at Alhambra Venture 2026 in Granada.

The first weeks of summer brought a lot of visibility for Hisperion Aerospace and Orbita, our model-based simulation platform for spacecraft GNC design and validation. Here is a round-up.

Finalists at Alhambra Venture 2026

Hisperion was one of the finalist startups at the 13th edition of Alhambra Venture in Granada, one of the main entrepreneurship events in southern Spain.

On stage, we presented the vision behind Orbita and how we help space engineering teams design, simulate and validate Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) systems with greater speed, confidence and technical depth. Beyond the pitch, it was a pleasure to meet founders, investors, industry professionals and members of the innovation ecosystem, and to see the momentum building around deep tech and New Space in Spain. Thank you to the Alhambra Venture team for a great event.

IDEAL: the 'brain' that validates satellites before launch

Ahead of Alhambra Venture, the newspaper IDEAL published a feature on Hisperion: Hisperion Aerospace diseña el 'cerebro' que valida los satélites antes de su lanzamiento al espacio.

The article presents Orbita as the first desktop software environment in Europe designed specifically for New Space companies to design, simulate and validate the GNC systems of their spacecraft. It can run locally, protecting intellectual property, a key advantage at a time when Europe is prioritising technological sovereignty.

Among the Spanish space startups to follow in 2026

El Referente included Hisperion in its selection of top Spanish aerospace startups to follow in 2026, companies that are helping to position Spain as an increasingly relevant player in the new space economy.

ESA BIC Andalusia: Sevilla Capital Espacial and CATEC

As part of the first cohort of ESA BIC Andalusia, Hisperion also featured in several pieces from the Andalusian space ecosystem:

  • Sevilla Capital Espacial Española interviewed our co-founder and CTO, who presented Orbita and shared how Hisperion's experience in the ESA BIC Andalusia incubation programme is going.
  • CATEC, which manages ESA BIC Andalusia, presented Hisperion among the startups of the first cohort, highlighting our focus on the upstream segment and advanced satellite GNC software.
  • We also took part in CATEC's Technology Breakfast dedicated to ESA BIC Andalusia, where the first six incubated startups presented their activity and the projects they will develop at the centre.

Thank you to everyone who has helped us share what we are building.
