Orbita developers with the COIAE prize

Aeronautic Innovation Prize 2024

On December 10th 2024, Orbita was recognized by the Official College of Aeronautical Engineers of Spain (COIAE) with the Aeronautical Innovation Award on its 8th edition. The COIAE is the official professional body representing aeronautical engineers in Spain. Established to support and regulate the profession, the COIAE plays a key role in promoting excellence, ethical standards, and technical development within the aerospace sector. The COIAE also organizes events, forums, and awards to recognize outstanding contributions to aerospace engineering and raise public awareness of the profession’s importance to Spain’s technological and industrial growth.

The ceremony took place at the Institute of Engineering of Spain (IEE) with the attendance of the director of the Spanish Space Agency (AEE), Juan Carlos Cortés. It also featured the presentation of the Alas de Oro (Golden Wings) Award, prizes for the best master's thesis project, and the presentation of the "40 Years of Professional Service" medals (Medallas de 50 Años de Profesión).
